How to install a bootable VHD?

Requirements

The bootable VHD's provided by U2U requires the Windows 7 (32 or 64bit) or Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system.
 

Installation

 
  1. Put the VHD file you've received from U2U on a non protected folder on one of your internal disks (e.g. C:\Course_VHD).
  2. Download the U2U Bootdog tool: U2U BootDog.zipU2U BootDog.zip
  3. Extract the zip and start the bootdog.exe executable.
  4. Make sure you start the application as Administrator:

  5. Click the browse button and select the VHD. Specify the title that should appear in the boot loader:

  6. Press the big "Prepare Course" button.
  7. Restart your system, during startup you should be able to select the new image.
